The 1645 Inn is a friendly family run hotel ideally situated in the picturesque village of Auldearn just 2 miles from Nairn between Inverness and Elgin in Moray which makes it the ideal location from which to explore the stunning scenery of the North and West Highlands.
We took inspiration from the history of the village when naming the Inn giving a nod to the Battle of Auldearn which took place in 1645. The Inn dates back to the 17th century which was kept in mind when carrying out refurbishment works in the building.
We proudly offer 14 newly refurbished comfortable ground floor bedrooms, a restaurant, pub and a large car park which all come with a warm Scottish welcome.
